Is Fate/Stay, Tsukihime, and Garden of Sinners in the same world?

Does Fate/Stay, Tsukihime, and Garden of Sinners take place in the same world? I know they are all Type-Moon series, but I wasn't sure if it was stated or not.

I believe one is an alternate universe of the other two, but they are all connected.

level 1

The unifying factor between all the works in the Nasuverse is a few recurring characters, namely a magus named Zelretch who can freely travel between alternate universes. All that's REALLY known for sure is that KnK absolutely takes place in an alternate universe from Tsukihime.

level 2

How is it known that KnK takes place in an alternate universe? I've seen others that said that, but I don't understand why.

I think so? I mean look in HF (if you've played it) [HF route spoilers] (/s " where Touko Aozaki from Kara no Kyoukai gives Shirou a new container for his body at the end") and in the Tsukihime prologue where [Tsukihime VN] (/s "Touko's sister who was mentioned in Kara no Kyoukai meets and teaches Tohno about his eyes")

Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night do share the same universe. Kara no Kyoukai happens in a different one mainly because the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception are so rare it's virtually impossible for two different people to have them in the same universe. However they all share some characters and are part of the Nasuverse.

Tsukihime and Fate S/N are in the same universe. Garden of Sinners is in an Alternate Universe.

Remember the zombies in Kiritsugu's Flashback? They're dead apostles and are pretty much the main plot point in Tsukihime. The Church also plays a huge role in Tsukihime (Kirei's faction).

Somebody said that Cornelius Alba from KnK is in Fate/Zero, and I also read it on the Type-Moon Wiki. Is Fate/Zero on the Tsukihime or the KnK universe?

They're alternate universes of the same world. This leads to a few really strange cross overs. For example Cornelius Alba from the fifth Garden of Sinner's movie shows up in Fate/zero in which Fate/zero Spoilers

Here is a character chart of some of Nasu's works and how some of the characters are inter-connected. Some of the character relationships include spoilers, with Heaven's Feel being (arguably) the main culprit, so you've been warned.
